Battle of Crete/Genocide of the Hellenism of Pontos

On the occasion of the commemoration of the Battle of Crete and Mainland Greece, which will coincide again with the tragic anniversary of the Genocide of the Hellenism of Pontos, the following events have been scheduled:
-a Memorial Service at the Greek Orthodox Parish of “St Nektarios” on Saturday, 7th June at 10.30 a.m.
-a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the State War Memorial in King’s Park on Saturday, 7th June at 12:30 p.m.
The Ambassador of Greece to Australia H.E. Mr Haris Dafaranos and his spouse Mrs Eva Dafaranos will be attending this year’s commemorative events.
